CFB 27 NIL Spreadsheet Templates: Roster, Recruits & Departures
Already tracking your players in Excel or Google Sheets? Start with three small, separate lists, then paste them into the free NIL calculator. No account, spreadsheet connection or game-save upload is needed.
Updated · Examples use fictional values
Choose the list you need
Fictional examples, ready for Excel, Google Sheets or the calculator’s Paste rows field. Keep each list separate; import up to 20 valid rows per section.
Current roster NIL
Your current commitments before subtracting departures. Include each player or group once.
Recruiting offers
Offers for this class. Count each commitment here once; do not also add it to current roster NIL.
Projected departures
A subset of costs already included in your current roster. This releases points only in the next-season scenario.
Copy includes data rows only. CSV downloads also include a Name,Points header.
Import a list in four steps
The downloads contain fictional example rows, not a full game database. Replace names and points with your own values before using the result to make a decision.
- Copy the sample into a sheet, or open the CSV download. Keep one name or player group per row and its points in the last column.
- Enter total Dynasty Points, coaching staff, facilities and reserve directly in the calculator. Those four program values are not imported from player lists.
- In the matching Current roster NIL, Recruiting offers or Projected departures section, choose Paste rows, paste that list, then choose Use pasted rows.
- Check the imported row count and section total before moving on. Repeat for the other two lists only if you want to replace them too.
What the importer accepts
Copied rows use tabs, so they paste into two spreadsheet columns. CSV downloads use commas and include a Name,Points header. The calculator also accepts a name followed by a space and a number. Use nonnegative numbers such as 12 or 2.5; avoid currency symbols and thousands separators.
For tab-separated or comma-separated rows, the last value is treated as the points amount. Keep only the two useful columns before copying. Names are limited to 60 characters. Headers and rows without a valid numeric amount are ignored; review the imported count instead of assuming every line was included.
Each import keeps the first 20 valid rows and replaces the entire matching section. It does not append. Pasting a second batch into the same section would replace the first batch. Share links also keep only the first 20 rows per section, so keep each list within that limit by grouping some costs into clearly named totals.
Reconcile the sample before using your own roster
The roster sample totals 40 points, recruiting totals 20, and departures totals 10. Departures are already part of the 40-point roster, not an extra 10-point expense. In the calculator's projection, 40 − 10 + 20 gives a 50-point next-season roster.
To reproduce the worksheet example, enter total 100, staff 15, facilities 10 and reserve 10. After importing all three samples, current remaining should be 15, spendable after reserve 5 and projected next-season headroom 15. These are checks of this teaching example, not game predictions.
If your totals differ, check for a duplicated player, a row with a nonnumeric amount, an unexpected last column, more than 20 imported rows or an old list in one of the other sections. Do not subtract departures from the current roster before importing them again as departures.
What this template does—and what to keep current
This is a two-column input template for Dynasty Ledger. It does not read screenshots, import game saves, predict player demands or sync back into the game. The CSV itself has no formulas; the website calculates totals after you paste the rows.
Keep a dated copy of your original sheet, update changed commitments and review uncertain departures before each new scenario. In the full calculator, regular edits save in your browser. Linked plans remain unsaved previews until you choose Save in this browser. Share links include up to 20 rows per section; share only the information you intend another person to see.
